You do not need a bootcamp or a budget to get genuinely good at AI. These are the free resources I would actually use, from total beginner to going deep, plus the YouTubers worth following.

Boris Cherny, who leads Claude Code at Anthropic, just posted that the old job titles, engineer, designer, product manager, are disappearing and getting replaced by a handful of new AI-first roles. Read his post here. Whichever role you land in, the one skill that decides how far you go is being genuinely good with AI, and you can learn that without spending a dollar.

These are the free resources I would actually use, roughly in the order I would use them. Do not try to do all of them at once. Pick one, use it on something real this week, and go from there.
